Hey guys, Kevpert here! Practically everything here is focused on making YOU a better Rocket League player. I'm a huge fan of Rocket League and have got a nice chunk of experience under my belt - so I've found my calling making helpful tutorials for Rocket League. Wall Stops 1 F11: 5FEA-4927-9052-664F Hey guys! I've made this video to cover a bunch of wall stop techniques, starting with very basic ones and building to extremely advanced ones. I also give my thoughts on Dynamic Air Roll (having DAR on the triggers), which gives you more control over your aerials. The verdict? I love it, and hugely recommend it! So if you're thinking about switching controls, then this video is for you! Much Love, Kevpert Referenced Training Plan Videos: ua-...

Hey guys! Since I've got so many training packs out, I figured it was a good time to show a comprehensive training plan for the serious player. This plan is the culmination of all of my best practices, so it's a carefully constructed plan to improve car control as much as possible, whilst still tackling fundamental skills. It's currently what I've been using, and it's gotten me impressive resul...

Are you using both air rolls? Left and right. I'm using air roll right and its giving me so awkward situations
Very well done. Im high diamond right now looking to keep growing. Ive barely broken into diamond in ones. I believe this practice will help in all game modes as well, but thank you. So simple and informative.
If i feel like keeping the default settings, and adding AR left on L1, will that be a problem to improve? I know that changing the controls might might lead to better improvements, but is that super necessary?
Can’t access the pack. Says the code doesn’t work
Can you train me 😢 ?
brother please upload I still suck
Me on switch 🗿🗿🗿🔥🔥😈

Found another way to practice air roll(If you jave it bound to triggers) recently: Go into your favorite rings map and then choose the direction that you want to learn first Now start going through the map while spinning as slowly as needed and slowly ramp it up as you get used to the constantly changing orientations It's a bit odd but seems to help. Quick question, can you think of any negative aspects with doing this? Ex: bad muscle memory type things?
first comment after 9 months is the wildest thing to say
how can u play with a friend in the side swipe map?
the ball on the actual training pack is faster than the ball shown here, making the pack unplayable because we cant play it like you demonstrated
video starts at 1:42
Kev please come back (again)
Fr
cant do shit, the chance is higher that i directly score rather than dubble tap it. wtf?
these are best striking training packs i ever used
What’s normal air roll
That's your neutral or joystick air roll where when pressed, will make it so that your joystick will tilt the car vertically if you pull the stick back or push it forward and will roll the car left or right with similar stick movements
I dont get it, i bound capture checkpoint to square and I can make the first checkpoint but pressing square, however when pressed again, instead of making more checkpoints takes me back to the first. Also I keep trying to delete old checkpoints and it will say checkpoint deleted put I press square and it takes me back to it again...
I’m curious what you have to say about changing your speed in games from slow to fast and fast to slow and everything in between. Seems like a easy concept but I think it’s the difference between champ and GC or at least one of the differences. Miss the videos
some… interesting camera settings
Anyone got videos on just the dodge moves??? Kinda like the tutorial for the speed flip???
4:20 “ so I just go off the ceiling” man I’m new to rocket league and I got so much to learn lol. You crazy bro. Had a guy completely shit on me in game and after chatting he recommended to watch ur videos !
I find it so hard to control my car in the air going of walls and just controlling the car in the air in general . Only couple months into playing .
I’m using zens control bindings and your camera settings lol. I got used to his bindings but I think I like your amount of view better
Hey kevpert im trying to use this pack and follow along with the different parts in the pack but mine is random from yours how do i change that
It makes it wear my led trigger is my button to go to checkpoint but that’s no what it binded
its saying the training pack code is invalid
can i bind drive foward and air roll right both on r2?
I mean you can. It'd make walldashing problematic though, because you're going to auto dodge right when you attempt it.
Kevpert ever since this has became popular am I the only one that’s noticed that you no longer can have a dynamic air role. As soon as L2 is pressed it immediately goes full speed or am I trippin
@slimittRL it's affected by aerial sensitivity. To actually notice an effect, you need it below 1.50 in game. If you want it higher, you can set stick sensitivity through ds4windows and set your in game sens to 1.0
@@Kevpert I’ve tried everything I’m not sure what it is. Little under a year ago it was fine but now it’s a static input no matter what sense I use and it only activates once I’ve fully pressed L2.
Kevpert are you okay cause you haven't uploaded just making sure please respond or heart this comment
Hey Criko, I'm fine. Just been taking a break since the whole RLCS season with Luminosity was incredibly stressful. Great experience though! You can catch my team - RetalsMajicCheese - playing in the Shift Summer League, if you want to keep up with what we're doing.
@@KevpertIm very glad to hear that! I will definitely make sure to keep up on what your doing for sure!
Your training packs are really helpful brother. Keep up the good work. support
Miss your vids pert. We still gettin freaky though
I just tried them, and I hate that I DONT hate these settings hahaha It feels so cursed but yet so nice, it feels like I am doing something very illegal lmao
best tutorial ever
Im coming for you freakypert😏
Hello Kevpert, I've been enjoying your videos recently. Currently I am a bit confused though. Should I go through the drills of the first aerial control video, then advanced, then elite when Im comfortable , or should I go straight to elite as it could contain more efficient drills? I hope this makes sense.
I think if you want the most up-to-date stuff, you should check out the "Ultimate Training Plan" that's one of my more recent videos. If you're starting out though, the Advanced Car Control video is a good starting point. Do that for a few weeks and you'll find yourself with decent control, possibly able to make the jump to the "Ultimate Training Plan" video.
@@Kevpert Thank you for the excellent reply. I will look into it.
7 years later I’m still watching this
@1:51 who is phillip
What do I do wrong when my cancelled diagonal flip (from upside down postion into an air dribble) almost always shoot my car pass the ball and goes too far forward in relation to the ball? Am I doing the flip wrong or should I simply try to get more distance to the ball.
Great vid, amazing teacher.
The ball is way too close and you have far too much momentum at the beginning to be able to reach the ball properly before it bounces, am I the only one who's having this problem?
There is a problem with ur packs its not same as the video , the first pack the 7th shot u just use the boost for catching the ball but for me even speed flip isnt engh for the catch , it hit the ground before i can reach it
Dang this was so helpful as someone aspiring to rise through champ
My boost unlimted .why i cant catch the ball since my car with boost i coudlnt follow any tips❤
gamesir controllers have back paddles and arent too expensive
What are those cam settings 😬
this is so hard, i always kick the ball so far away with the flip, real sad that even with such good video i cant get it right
The training pack works but the order of the shots doesn't match the video. Is there a fix for this?
4:34 not working for me :(
bro doesn't know what tutorial means
We desperately need an update of your progress after a year now! Are you able to almost dribble at -650 yet?? How’s your rank changed? Did you stick to the training religiously or did you end up stopping? Cheers!
Yep, I've been sticking it for the most part, get it done almost every day really. I just completed -539 this week, which I'm really happy with, considering one year ago I was around -400. Like I said in my video, it's really a two year plan to get to 650. Maybe it'll take longer than that. But I like to see the progress over time. I haven't really played much ranked because I've been so busy with the Luminosity team, so most days I just do mechs and a couple games at most. But I'm usually GC3/low SSL at any given time, which for me is pretty good for not hard grinding ranked.
@@Kevpert fantastic mate. Also how has your controls been treating you? ie putting air roll on the triggers. I’ve been wanting to do the exact same as you but about 3500 hours in I can’t bring myself to try changing my bindings. Has it been worth it for you ? Really want to put my air rolls on the triggers/bumpers for wall dashes like nwpo Cheers
@@Loiiiiiiiiiii Yeah definitely worth it for me, it just makes the game that much more fun. If it makes you feel, I was around 13000 hours when I made the change LOL
@@Kevpert that’s good to know - has putting drive on your bumper hurt your ground dribbles at all? And yeah if you changed at 13k hours then absolutely anyone can that’s great Maybe I’ll swap and see how I go Has the Ganer method been the most important part of relearning your directional air rolls?
@@Kevpert hi mate quick question - did you completely stop playing ranked until you started feeling comfortable with your new controls? At what point did you feel like you could play again. As I have changed mine now and have a decent road ahead - wondering if you genuinely just didn’t play for a whole month and just did training? Are you back to your former glory of skill yet ?
Nice video, very complete as always! Please, please, really please tell me how can you powerslide with the left pad buttom and still able to move de joystick!!
